Custom Software Development

Custom software development covers tailor-made web applications, backends and integrations, built with enterprise-grade engineering: CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, observability and security by design.

We develop custom software solutions with enterprise-grade engineering practices: CI/CD pipelines, comprehensive test coverage, observability, and security by design. We build web frontends with Next.js 16 and React Server Components (edge caching, SSR/SSG); Core Web Vitals and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility are checked continuously. From requirements analysis through UI/UX design to implementation with defined SLOs – we guide you through the entire development process with agile methods and modern tech stack.

How it runs

(01)

Sprint: Discovery & Architecture

Clarify requirements and goals, define architecture and data model, select the core slice for the beta

W1
(02)

Sprint: Build the core slice

Implement the most important workflow with database, authentication and first integrations; demo at the end of every week

W2-3
(03)

Sprint: Runnable beta

Testing, security review and deployment to a production-like environment; you receive a runnable beta with documentation

W4
(04)

Build & Support: Expansion in stages

Further features, integrations and scaling in stages after scoping, with a demo after each stage; plus operations, updates and monitoring

Build
(01)What tech stack do you use for web applications?
We use Next.js 16 with React Server Components, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and depending on requirements PostgreSQL, Convex, or Supabase as database. For hosting, we use Vercel or AWS/GCP with Edge deployment.
(02)How are scope changes handled during the project?
We work in clearly defined stages: first a Sprint of about four weeks aimed at a runnable beta, then the expansion stages in the Build & Support format. Scope changes are welcome and evaluated through a structured change request process. Each change is transparently communicated regarding effort, timeline, and budget before being added to the backlog.
(03)How do you handle ongoing operations?
In the Build & Support format we take care of monitoring, bug fixing and updates. We do not make blanket availability promises; how quickly we respond and how operations are measured is agreed together in the contract, in line with the terms of the cloud services involved.
(04)How is application security ensured?
Security is integrated from the start: OWASP-compliant development, role-based access control (RBAC), secrets management, encrypted communication (TLS 1.3), audit logging, and regular security reviews. For sensitive data, we additionally implement PII handling per GDPR.
(05)How does maintenance work after go-live?
Bugs you report within 30 days of final delivery are fixed free of charge. After that, in the Build & Support format we handle bug fixing, security updates, performance optimization and feature development – with a ticket system, regular status reports and a dedicated contact person.
(06)How is AI integrated responsibly?
We focus on AI governance: model selection based on your requirements (Claude, GPT, Gemini, open source), guardrails against hallucinations and unwanted outputs, cost caps for token usage, and fallback strategies for API outages. RAG systems do not train a model on your data: it is retrieved at query time from a vector index that stays under your control, and it is never passed to third parties.
(07)How long does a custom development project typically take?
We start with a Sprint of about four weeks: the goal is a runnable beta of the most important workflow in production-like quality, tested and documented. Everything else we build in stages in the Build & Support format, with a demo after each stage. How many stages your project needs is defined after scoping. The Sprint is offered at a fixed price after scoping, with a quote within 48 hours.
(08)How do you handle feedback and iterations?
During the Sprint you see the current state in a demo every week. In the Build & Support format, every stage ends with a demo and a feedback session. Changes are prioritized in the backlog and taken into the next stage based on business value.
(09)What does the development team look like?
Typically 3-5 dedicated specialists: frontend developer, backend developer, UI/UX designer, QA engineer, and a project manager. Team size scales with project needs.
(10)Do you provide maintenance after launch?
Yes. In the Build & Support format we handle bug fixes, security updates, performance monitoring and feature enhancements. Ongoing support is billed monthly; scope and term are agreed in the contract.
(11)Can the application scale as my business grows?
Absolutely. We architect for scalability from day one using cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices patterns, and database optimization strategies.
