Context Studios builds AI solutions for businesses and uses artificial intelligence itself, including for this website. This page explains what we use AI for, how we label AI-generated content and who is responsible for the content.
Responsible party
This website is operated by Context Studios UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Kaiser-Friedrich-Str. 6, 10585 Berlin, Germany. Editorial responsibility for the content lies with the managing director Michael Kerkhoff (responsible pursuant to § 18 para. 2 MStV, see Impressum).
Legal framework
Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (the EU AI Act) sets out transparency obligations. Among other things, they cover AI systems that interact directly with people and image, audio and video content generated or manipulated by AI. This page describes how we handle this on contextstudios.ai.
What we use AI for
- Texts: For blog articles and website copy we use language models for research, outlining and drafting.
- Translations: The English, French and Italian versions of our content are produced with the help of language models, based on the German version.
- Images: The cover images and illustrations of our blog articles, the hero images of our landing pages and the photorealistic city views on our location pages are generated with AI.
- Chatbot: The chat assistant on this website answers your questions using a language model.
We use models from several providers for this, in particular language models from Anthropic, Google and OpenAI and image models from Google and OpenAI. Which providers process personal data in the process is set out in our privacy policy.
Human review and editorial responsibility
AI does not publish anything on this website on its own. Every published text is reviewed and approved before publication by a person with editorial responsibility. Editorial responsibility lies with Michael Kerkhoff.
The chatbot's answers are the exception: they are generated at the moment you ask and are not reviewed by a person beforehand (see “Chatbot”).
Labelling of AI-generated images
The photorealistic city views on our location pages and the hero images of our landing pages are not photographs – they are generated with AI; the city views show real places. We therefore label these images directly on the image with the note “AI-generated image”.
The atmospheric image at the top of our homepage is also generated with AI. The photos in the industry tiles on our homepage and the portrait of our founder, by contrast, are real photographs.
Chatbot
Our chat assistant is an AI system. In the chat we tell you that you are communicating with an AI and not with a human being. The answers are generated automatically, may contain errors and do not replace legal, tax or other professional advice. You can hand the conversation over to us at any time via “Talk to a human”.
Which data is processed when you use the chatbot is explained in the AI chatbot section of our privacy policy.
Questions and feedback
If you have questions about our use of AI, or if you think a piece of content is wrong or not adequately labelled, write to us at info [at] contextstudios [dot] ai. You will find further ways to contact us in the Impressum.
We update this page when our use of AI changes.
