(01)What is the difference between an AI development company and a traditional digital agency?
Context Studios is fully specialised in artificial intelligence. While digital agencies offer AI as one of many topics, AI is the core of every solution we build. We bring a deep understanding of language models, agent architectures and machine learning, and we also use AI in our own workflows.
(02)Which AI technologies does Context Studios work with?
We work with established AI models and frameworks: Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google) and open-source models such as Llama and Mistral. For orchestration we use Convex, LangGraph and the Model Context Protocol. The choice always depends on your use case and your requirements for data protection, performance and cost.

Project duration depends on complexity: an MVP or proof of concept can typically be delivered in 2–6 weeks, while a complete AI solution with integration into existing systems typically needs 8–16 weeks. Thanks to rapid prototyping you see first results with your real data after just a few weeks.

Costs depend on scope, data situation and integration effort. Fixed price after scoping, proposal within 48 hours. To get started, we offer fixed-price workshops: Light Discovery (half a day) for €1,500, Strategy Day for €2,500 and Prototyping Sprint (2 days) for €4,500. This way you can start with a manageable budget.
(05)Are the AI solutions GDPR-compliant?
Yes. GDPR compliance is not an afterthought for us but a fixed part of every architecture. We implement privacy by design, use European hosting infrastructure and make sure AI models are used in line with data protection rules. We also prepare our solutions for the requirements of the EU AI Act.
(06)Can I run the AI solution myself after the project ends?
Yes, your independence is our goal. We hand over the source code with the rights of use under clause 5 of our terms, detailed documentation, and we train your team in using the solution. We offer maintenance and further development by agreement, so your AI solution stays up to date and performs well.
(07)How does Context Studios make sure the AI solution really works?
We start every project with a proof of concept in which we test the AI solution with your real data. This validates feasibility before larger investments are made. During development we rely on automated tests, regular evaluations of model performance and transparent KPIs that make project success measurable.

An AI consultant analyses potential and creates strategies – a specialised agency implements them. Context Studios combines both: we advise you strategically and then build the solution completely. This avoids a gap between consulting and implementation, and the results end up in production rather than in a drawer.

Yes. Existing AI solutions often do not deliver the expected quality or become too expensive. We analyse the current architecture, identify bottlenecks and optimise models, prompts, data pipelines and costs. We then extend the system with new functions or integrations as needed, without putting ongoing operations at risk.

A studio is a specialised software firm focused on AI that works in a boutique way: personal attention, careful engineering and direct communication. At Context Studios you work directly with the founder, Michael Kerkhoff, with no chain of project managers in between.

Across Germany and Europe. We work remotely by video call from Berlin-Charlottenburg and come on site for workshops and milestones on request.
