# Software Architecture Design

Production-ready architecture with ADRs, SLOs, HA/DR, and operational blueprints

The right software architecture is crucial for long-term success. We design scalable, maintainable, and future-proof architectures for your applications – from monoliths through microservices to event-driven architectures. Beyond diagrams, we deliver production-ready blueprints: Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), non-functional requirements with concrete SLOs, HA/DR strategies, threat models, Infrastructure-as-Code templates, and CI/CD pipelines. We consider your specific requirements for performance, scalability, security, compliance, and total cost of ownership.

## Perfect For

Ideal for companies planning a new major application, wanting to revise their existing architecture, or facing critical architecture decisions. Particularly valuable for CTOs, Lead Engineers, and Product Managers who need actionable deliverables, not just PowerPoint slides.

## Benefits

- Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) documenting every major technical choice with rationale

- Non-functional requirements with measurable SLOs (latency, availability, throughput targets)

- HA/DR strategy with RTO/RPO definitions, failover procedures, and multi-region options

- Infrastructure-as-Code blueprints (Terraform/Pulumi) and CI/CD pipeline templates

## How we work on it

- Workshop — ½–2 days · three fixed prices: A facilitated session that ends with a ranked list of your projects.
- Sprint — 4 weeks · fixed price after scoping: Four weeks on one goal, with something that runs at the end.

### Included

- Review of existing systems, data flows and interfaces
- Target architecture with diagrams and reasoned technology decisions
- Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) for the key choices
- Assessment of scalability, security and operating costs
- Implementation roadmap with priorities

### Not included

- Implementing the target architecture (separately after scoping)
- Vendor selection including tendering and contract negotiation
- Ongoing architecture support after the project ends

### How it runs

- **T1 — Workshop**: In a workshop (½–2 days) we clarify goals, constraints and existing systems with your business and IT leads.
- **W1-2 — Analysis & design**: During the sprint the target architecture takes shape, with alternatives, assessment and decision papers.
- **W3-4 — Review & roadmap**: Joint review, ADRs and an implementation roadmap that your team or we can then execute.
